The West Lebanon and Hanover Greenway (WaHG) trail satisfies a critical need identified in multiple local and regional plans. This key active transportation connection would allow people in West Lebanon and Hanover to make many ordinary trips without the use of a vehicle. DONATE to Feasibility Study Fund!
Friends of Lebanon Recreation, Arts & Parks and Lebanon Recreation collaborated with the Lebanon Housing Authority (LHA) to conduct a leisure activity survey of Rogers House residents. The survey identified potential leisure activities that residents preferred, but were not included in traditional recreation dept planning. The former playground at Civic Park on Seminary Hill lived a few years beyond its useful life. We miss it and the heartwarming sounds of children laughing and playing on the colorful structure. Cycling Without Age (CWA) is an international organization that connects volunteer cyclists with seniors (and others with mobility limitations) to enjoy a ride on an E-assist trishaw. The Lebanon chapter, supported by Lebanon Recreation, Arts, and Parks is increasing access to our Rail Trails, building intergenerational relationships in our community, and getting people active in our community!
