About Friends of Lebanon Recreation & Parks
Seeking members for FOLRP
The Friends of Lebanon Recreation, Arts, and Parks Board is seeking enthusiastic new members to join our mission to advocate for and raise funds to enhance recreational activities, arts, and parks for all residents of Lebanon and West Lebanon, NH. Interested email info@friendsoflebrec.org.
Board members make a two-year commitment to attend regularly scheduled meetings and participate actively in designated board tasks and events. We are looking for team players who have a general knowledge of Lebanon Recreation, Arts & Parks Department programming, bring energy and creative suggestions, and can be ambassadors and supporters of the Lebanon Recreation, Arts & Parks Department.
Valued qualities
- Members should be residents of West Lebanon or Lebanon, NH
- We appreciate a sense of humor, organizational skills, willingness to take calculated, risks, and an inclination to celebrate successes.
- Some particular skills that could benefit our team are marketing/design, public speaking, project management, and the ability to “see over the horizon” and anticipate future needs.

The organization is structured under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Its mission is to advocate for and raise funds through various means to support and enhance recreational activities and parks for all residents in Lebanon and West Lebanon, NH. It also serves as a fiscal sponsor for organizations raising funds to support parks and recreation directly and community activities held within Lebanon and West Lebanon, NH park facilities or locations.
